For the Exploring Creative Contexts module I had two parts to complete. An individual section and a group project. For the individual section I had to write an essay in response to the question 'How is Interior Design influenced by wider culture, commercial, and other contexts?'. For my response to this question I decided to explore how light and colour coexist within design and how they both individually influence Interior Design. For the group section of this module I had to complete a group zine in response to a given question. The question we was given was 'How do we explore the self in creative contexts?'. Each member of my group selected a different topic that they wanted to explore in relation to this question. For my section I decided to explore 'The Future of Interior Design'. I chose to focus on this topic as it is a particular interest of mine for many reason. Firstly, it relates to the subject I am studying which in my opinion is the most interesting creative contexts. Secondly, the future of design in general and more specifically the future of Interior Design is a topic that I have particular interested in as I believe it is important to keep up to date with how all aspects of design are changing and evolving. Lastly, the future of Interior Design also interests me because through my research I discovered that design and technology are evolving and combining together.
