This project focused on redesigning an art gallery space for a new exhibition which was to feature the Pilkington Pots Collection. For my design I took inspiration from the vibrant colours and patterns on the pots to create an interesting feature on the walls. However, I wanted to create a contrasting design. Therefore, to compliment the pots I created sleek, white, minimalist podiums and then designed hanging pods made of chains and glass. For this project I produced a simple hand drawn floor plan and elevation, and to better show the design I also produced three different visuals, an elevation showing the components I designed to be featured within the space, a close up of a section that feature the patterned wall, the podiums and the hanging pods, and finally an axonometric drawing to better show the position of the podiums and the hanging pods.
