Building Analysis: Interior Architecture

Take a look at one of my second year projects. This project focused on conducting in-depth research into Ordsall Hall, Salford and then using this research to inform my design of either an installation, event or exhibition that was appropriate to the building/location. I designed an event based on the history of the hall and Manchester/Salford's past.

Specialist Studies in Design
​
Take a look at one of my second year projects. This project focused more on set design but still relating to interior design as I was designing the interiors of the set. The set is of a Victorian house with the interiors based on 60s/70s design. The overall look and feel of the set has based off of a script that was chosen for me and used this script to determine all aspects of the set. The interior spaces in which I focused on were the kitchen, hallway and the study as this is where most scenes within the script were based.

Responding to Creative Contexts

Take a look at one of my second year projects. This project was part essay, part visual and I chose to explore ' To what extent have designers challenged female gender roles throughout history'. After researching this I can created a two part visual responds to this research one of which can be seen to right.
